tasty restaurant, clean public areas, well-organized front desk

The main floor bathrooms need deep cleaning and repainting!!! Room noise from outside and between units can be bothersome, especially early in the morning!!! Carrying bags for seniors through stairs should have more support!!!

Good spot for a weary traveler

Alright so I was exhausted after a long trip and it was real nice to find this place. The staff was super friendly and helped carry my bag up the stairs since there ain't no elevator here.

Yeah it wasn’t cheap but I guess it was ok for what I got.

Clean room and comfy beds. The dining experience fell short. the chowder was unremarkable. Loved the location near live music events.

excellent central spot for walking and sightseeing in antigonish

I loved how convenient this place was to everything. from just a few steps away to beautiful cairn park and less than a 5-minute walk to st james united church of canada, it made my weekend strolls around the city so enjoyable. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more pleasant, but breakfast options were a bit limited with the voucher system they have in place.

the room was clean,, but the bathroom was pretty small. they had a fridge and microwave which was super handy. breakfast was great, with choices made fresh. location was perfect for exploring downtown.

Great location with comfy beds and a lovely restaurant. Our room was spotless and we appreciated the bulk dispensers in the bathroom.

I had a great experience during my one-night stay, with a clean room and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a menu full of delicious options. The staff were all friendly and efficient, making me feel welcome. However, parking could be slightly challenging for larger vehicles.

The Maritime Inn Antigonish features a warm, modern decor and spacious rooms that are easily accessible. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness and the thoughtful arrangements that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable as a senior.

I stayed here for one night while exploring the local sights. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the main attractions like the Antigonish Heritage Museum. The King Room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I was impressed by the friendly service during breakfast, which was tasty and made for a great start to the day. However, some areas, like the bathroom, could use a bit more attention from housekeeping.

The room felt outdated and unwelcoming. The condition of the towels was disappointing, as they were rough and too small for comfort. I also noticed cleanliness issues, like dust in the corners, which added to my dissatisfaction during the stay.

The location was excellent with a welcoming atmosphere and accommodating staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. However, persistent noise from nearby guests affected my sleep, and there were some minor cleanliness issues. Overall, it was a pleasant stay despite these drawbacks.

We had a fantastic time exploring Beaver Mountain Provincial Park during our stay, and the kids loved the hiking trails. The included breakfast was wonderful, with the best orange juice and deep-fried pickles we’ve ever had! Everyone enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and friendly service.

In my wife’s opinion, better highchairs would be great for little ones.
